Steve Hedrick worked as a barista for Starbucks for over six years. He entered his song “Light of the Moon” into a competition for musicians employed by the company whose songs would be featured on a compilation cd sold at all Starbucks locations.

His song was selected and then subsequently featured on a national radio ad campaign. He will always feel a sense of appreciation for Starbucks for giving him this opportunity. He also met his wife, Monica, while working there for which he is eternally grateful.
